God is a very giving God. He always provides and makes sure we are taken care of. There is scripture after scripture about it.
We often wish for a bigger house, a nicer car, a newer this or that... Those things are just that... things. God doesnt always give us what we want... but He always gives us what we need. There are things that we have to go thru... that we do not want to do. But it is all in His time, if you go and try to do things because you want them and it isnt what God wants for you... you will be miserable until it is the right place, right time, right person. You always need to live in God's will not try to make your will succeed.
I want a big house. I have 1200 square ft. and 6 people in it. I would love to get a huge new house. But my little house also has a little payment, a little electric bill, and a little tax payment. All which I can afford along with my other bills. One day I will be blessed with a big house in the right area with the right payments.... and it will all be for me being happy with the little things I was given first.
Matthew 6:19"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. 20But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22"The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. 23But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! 24"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money.
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;where there is darkness, light;
where there is sadness, joy.
O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand;
to be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen~St Francis of Assisi
This is a prayer that I will choose to pray everyday. I want to be a better person in all ways in my good and in my bad.
